The demand for higher quality music replay is highly overestimated (niche market for freaks as me)

Simple reasoning here...people will have to buy DVD Audio players on top of their CD players and DVD Video players. SACD is Sony only so far and the cheapest player is $3500. DVD audio may make it, but probably in a different form (standard).

DVDa survives as a video adjunct and as a surround sound alternative; sacd wins the sonic wars for all music lovers
