Too Many Forum Categories?

You are sort of right- I don't think it needs a complete overhaul but the hardware does seem buried. I think the comments on specific months should be at the bottom and hardware closer up. And all the manufacturer's related stuff way down there too.

Maybe some sub-areas would help like Hardware, then the various specifics within?

The monthly areas of the forum are also of the least interest to me. In my opinion they should be below the other categories or done away with completely with those subjects being discussed in their respective forums.

Yes, it's a bit excessive but we don't know what form of internal politics went on at Stereophile to have it created that way.
I can't find this 'Hardware' section referred to, let a lone a 'Speakers' sub section. Are we talking about the same forum?
