I don't know your specific model. Some turntables do not have "damped" cueing - on those, you just have to move the cueing lever slowly by hand, so that it contacts the record gently.
You can order a small tube of silicone damping fluid from locations such as Parts Express. If you feel unconfortable doing the repair yourself - it can get quite messy - any shop that services turntables can perform the repair at minimal cost.
