So i is perrusing the Stereophile competitors in writings...seems like the $100,000 platter sitting on a motor!!! DISAPPONITED for teh 2nd year at teh show according to the observer!!!! Wonder what MF thinks about it, any response? How on earth could something that costs so much deliver so little? An Audi RS4 is "only" $72K, it's got lotsa recise bearings motors, controllers fit and finish beyond a work of art..I continue to wanna know...HOW CAN ANYTHING cost $100,000 that is a spinning platter on a motor!!! And then be a DISSAPOINTEMENT!!!!!!!! Me thinks the ones who praise it, could be misleading us? $45K CD only players, when universal players for much much much less will probably be not able to tell one from the other? An EMMLABS extremely expensive BUT it upsamples SACD DSD which is cool, but is it audible, I wanna see a reveiwe there in StereoPhile JA, come on, let's see if EMM LABS from one of the dudes who worked on the creation of DSD/SACD with the masters of optical discs Philips, how does he do it, and for a lot less than so many other over priced players, not that $10K ain't a big absurd price for a non all in one player, but does it really make SACD even better than it is on mortal priced players, I wanna know, since no one wants to front me an Emm Labs player, I wanna know. How does a $100K TT fail to deliver? 2 years now, maybe TAS have better ears? Is MF just too caught up in well it's pricey, it's gotta be great? He liked that $45K fuzz tone CD only player with obsolete chips too, that seems to be the latest marketing scam, sell old chip technology, and tell everyone it sounds better!!! If it was better Philips wouldn't have stopped making it!!! And why did they create DSD/SACD? Duh.....
