Streamer/pre-amp//DAC connecting order

I just bought the Schiit Modius DAC and would like to connect it to my home system. Currently using the Arylic S50+ preamp, which has streaming capability and a DAC. To ensure that my system uses the Schiit DAC and not the Arylic one, in what order should I connect the three components? Should it be Schiit to Arylic, then to amp or Arylic to Schiit, then to amp? Newcomer appreciates any input. haha

If you're talking about

If you're talking about streaming specifically, just use the optical or coax OUT on Arylic, then connect that to either the optical or coax IN on the Schiit. Then RCA out from Schiit to the amp.
