Can’t say I know bupkis about open baffle speakers. I think you said there was a Revel dealer nearby. Would you be checking out the Performa3 F208 and the 228BE? What I am most curious about are the trble and bass controls on the 208. They may enable you to tune the speaker in your room in ways that even better speakers (on paper) might not be able to do.

The Revels are definitely still on my radar. One of my challenges is room size, I need to take into account the listening room is 20'x30'x9'.
