Hi Gideon

I don't understand your point here. What's got the living room speakers got to do with the kitchen's? Anyway,a nice pair of loudspeakers, unobtrusive too,is the Gallo. You could allways add the powered sub if you want.

Thanks for the reply, Yiangos. My point was that the sound from the kitchen speakers will blend to some extent with the sound from the living room, so I want something that is sonically consistent (albeit at a much lower price point) with the Wilsons.

Yes but only if you plan to play both systems at the same time.Anyway,i quess what you mean is you want both systems to match sonically and in that case,i don't think the Gallos
are a good match with the Willsons. Also, you did not mention what size of loudspeakers you are looking for.Floorstanders
stand-mounters or minis ?

Yiangos - In his initial post, he mentions he wishes to avoid floorstanders in the kitchen.

I don't have enough experience with the sonic signature of the Wilsons to offer any potential mates.

Yes, there will be times when I synch the outputs to both living room and kitchen/breakfast room, so need something that matches sonically. Stand or mini, rather than floor standing. Kitchen floor tends to get grubby and I don't want bits of old food flicked onto the speaker!
