Viva Espana

Whilst the Dutch fought (!!) a determined rearguard action trying to either kick or tire the Spanish into submission, it shows a total crisis of confidence in their own ability to play football (in my opinion).
At the start of the competition, one of our Australian commentators prophesied the era of Mourinho inspired defensive strategy.
Barcelona lost to Inter Milan in the ECL, but luckily Spain managed to win.
They never stopped playing and I am doubly glad Fabregas came good at last and made a real difference right at the death.
