So what tweaks can I do to improve my audio here...

Here's my desktop system. I spend most of my time here (work). That said, I want to make it sound as best as it can.
https://www.stereophile.com/content/my-workstation-audio-setup I have a PC with digital out going to a Schiit DAC with fiber optic, RCA cables to the Denon AVR 3805 in direct stereo mode, 12awg speaker cables going to my Kef Q150s.
I was thinking I need some sound dampening behind my speakers (they are super close to the wall). Would that help? What sort of tips do people have for the components I have? Upgrades necessary? The Kefs are new.

Kill Bill

While I like the samurai sword on the wall a lot would you believe photos or images of weapons are very bad for the sound? Maybe switch out the Kill Bill poster for a poster of Love Story or perhaps a song bird calendar. Everything else in your setup looks good.

Id say the sound control

Id say the sound control panels are doing more than I expected. They have reduced bass boom and Id say it was a worthy investment. The new speaker cables are nice, but I was already using 12ga OFC, so I doubt the sound has changed in that respect.

Tweaks

So, if you’re not into the whole cable directionality thing yet you can try reversing interconnects and/or speaker cables to see which way sounds best. One direction should sound clearer and more “correct” than the other direction. Ditto fuses.

Oh, clean all electrical contacts including non-audio contacts like wall outlets for fridge, computer, air purifier, etc.
