Sleeping with headphones!!! need help!!

If you're not actively listening, but simply using the 'phones for masking environmental noise, it's hard to beat the crappy white earbuds that come with an iPod. You can sleep on top of them roll around actively without dislodging them, and, even if you eventually trash 'em, they're cheap to replace (or ask your audiophile friends to give you theirs when they upgrade to Etymotics et al).
If you are actually listening, they're not good at all, but using them as noise reduction devices will keep your "good" headphones intact for real listening sessions.
So...maybe I wasn't clear in my post...But I'm am using them to listen to music not to drown out other outside sounds - otherwise I'd just use a pair of earplugs...
So now that that's clear, I hope, I need recommendations of good listening quality headphones/earbuds that will sound fairly good, good as or close to grados 125, but not but so delicately built that they break if you roll over on them in bed once and again.
From the second part of your reply, Wes, I am assuming you meant / think there is no earbuds under $2 0r $3 hundred dollars that can't match (or come close to) the sound of Grado 125? If there are, any suggestions as to make or model to check out?

Okay... sleeping with headphones on probably isn't the best for your hearing in the long run, dude. But if you're still looking for earbuds, I've been using Audio Technica ATH-CK7s for gym & when I can't really use the proper headphones. They have titanium body & are pretty comfy. Until they're broken in, the treble will seem bright. The bass performance also gets very musical and tight after break-in. After break-in, they're very very smooth & musical, and best of all: they're bargains. You can get em for like $60-70, I think.
I would avoid Shures, my 4 C's broke just in my briefcase.
What about some heavy duty headphones ? Beyer make some very robust good sounding units that i dont think you would ever break.

Thanks Selfdivider, as for hearing "in the long run" well I'm 54 now, did way to many drugs for 25 of those years, and I don't really crank up the volumes with phones, so I'm not too worried about my hearing since I don't think I'll be around much longer as it is. LOL. But thanks for the concern and I'll check out your recommendation as well!! Thanks again.
For listening in bed, I would certainly go w/ earbud type or in-canal type rather than "on ear" etc types. There are also better, entirely different things to sleep with...
Those things tend to lack the off switch.
Wes, I like my Grados for real listening, but the stock Apple earbuds are the best ones for the price ($29) that I've run into. I've tried some similarly priced Sennheisers and some others I've forgotten - so far the apple earbuds rule that low price category, IMHO.
Here are some ideas. In terms of standard over-ear headphones that are inexpensive and fairly sturdy and quite comfortable, you could look at the Sennheiser PX100 and 200. AKG also makes a a lot of the in-ear/earbud type headphone that may be better for sleeping.
