Sinewaves makes the whole sound - How many sinewaves per second are there in densest recording ?

I read somewhere sound is a collection of sinewaves or sinewaves makes the all sound. I want to learn what is the densest recording of music and how many sinewaves are there per one second ?

Frequency

The number of cycles per second is the definition of Frequency.
Each sound has a certain frequency, and it sounds "higher" if there are more cycles per second.
For example, an acoustic bass fiddle puts out frequencies that are much lower (less cycles per second) than a flute.

As a rough estimate we can

As a rough estimate we can assume about 9 octaves of music could be heard at once. That's 9 x 12 different sine wave frequencies that could be all musically related. So that would be 108 different tones, which could be represented as 108 different sine waves all superimposed on each other. But then there's even temperment and just intonation, and other musical scales besides 12 tone, and instruments and vocals that might just be a little out of tune, resonances, overtones, and now you've got perhaps tens of thousands of frequencies, maybe many more, that could be represented by different sinewaves all at once in the span of a second. But I'm not sure we can hear the difference between them all, except we could hear the beat patterns produced by playing the two close but different tones simultaneously. At some point it's going to quit sounding like music and just sound like white noise. A different question might be how few number of sinewaves can be used to produce realistic sounding acoustical music?

Mustafa, Trying to envision the electrical representation of music as a collection of sine waves is probably not the best way to envision it. Music is the summation of innumerable sine waves into one waveform. If you look at this on an oscilloscope that is what you see, one waveform. As for numbers, the highest frequency humans can hear is 20 kHz, the lowest is 20 Hz. Hz (hertz) means cycles per second.
