Right on sister! She spoke the truth!

WOW!!! If she said those statements in this country, she'd be labeled a racist by the left...lol!

The 'wackos' on CNN need to see this AND show it! But of course they won't....it goes against their political views....lol

Yes. There is a huge difference between racism and being sick of the ideological practitioners (Radical Islam, Radical Communism, etc.) who openly threaten and even attack us abroad, then hide behind diplomatic protocols, calling us bullies, while we end up apologizing for being a powerful Democracy. I just hate that. And I'm no racist, either.

Isn't strange that, while "everyone" hates us, immigration continues to increase? Apparently, those citizens of other countries, who are so fortunate to be non-Americans, would love just a small taste of the freedoms we enjoy so abundantly. Apparently, one of the most valuable pieces of paper available today is the one that reads "U.S. Citizen," because there certainly are a lot of folks out there who want one. I am sure Belgian documentation is even more desirable, if Alain is to be believed.

Man!

The Warriors re-hired Don Nelson?

Re-hiring Don Nelson to lead the Warriors is gonna work out about as well as George W re-hiring Don Rumsfeld to lead OUR warriors.

They both think the best defense is an undermanned offense; and both think "shock and awe" are a great idea for a frontcourt tandem.

Don Freakin' Nelson?

He's the damn Harold Stassen of NBA coaches.

Maybe they were trying to call his son, Don Jr., and got embarrassed when Don Sr. answered the phone.

I once got a date with a girl's sister that way.

Carry on.

Me too! IIRC, her exact words were, "Are you sure you've got the right Kelly?" Never did date the sister I originally called. Never regretted it either.

Stephen Stills got it right.

I thought that Stephen Stills song was about "onanism."

You know, "...rose in the fisted glove..." and all?

I think it was the inspiration for a subsequent Jackson Browne tune, if I'm not mistaken.

Okay, DUP. Try " mushroom in a fisted glove. Onan? He was thusly named for truncating the phrase, "on and on and on and..." Think "yoavism." Okay, y'all. Any other questions for Grandpa Clifton? Just nothing about cars or electricity, okay?

No, Buddha, the song about Onanism you're thinking of was "Rosie" by Jackson Browne.

"But Rosie you

Since it's lyrics day around here...I guess that would make you the which fictional guitarist?

We're talkin' lyrics, not real life.

She ain't rose, but she's alright,

lord she helps me through so many lonely nights,

it always feels so good to have her near

she ain't rose

she ain't bad

and rose ain't here.

I can't explain it, but since last night, my system feels "more open" - "less closed in."

There seems to be better articulation and it has more "positive imaging." It's like a veil has been lifted!

I'm thinking it could still be better though. I'll listen through the week or 'til the end of the moth, but it seems that if I get a little bit better balance toward the left (maybe just two "seats worth") my system will have snapped fully into focus.

This is the best things have sounded since my system balance developed a nasty right sided "harshness" in 1994.

Hope y'all have great sounding "systems" today!

A few thoughts:

"women should be able to get abortions."

Not with my child you don't! But speaking of gender... I guess it's OK if women want to abort other women, but hands off us guys!

"all people should be able to get married"

That's exactly what my sister wants, but my feelings for her are strictly platonic. Any solutions?

"no one should have to fight a rich mans war"

You talkin' Bill Gates here? Warren Buffett? Larry Ellison? David Geffen? Paul Allen?... The Sultan of Brunei?... Roman Abramovich?... Which rich man? I can't see their profit in it.

You remind me of a paradox that N.O.W. faces:

On the one hand, abortion on demand is a "right."

Yet, the Chinese choosing to preferentially abort female fetuses is a sexist abomination.

The poor Chinese can't win for aborting!

Yes. Same here. But mine has lost a lot of focus. And the left side of the soundstage is starting to wander aimlessly, much as the leaves scurry around in the Autumn breezes. Worse, my amplifier is starting to complain that I spent less money on it than I did on my speakers. The whole damned system wants higher maintenance fees, too.

Just as I was getting used to my right hand, this has to happen. Exotic new experiences are nice, I suppose, but the coordination problems that come with switching to the left hand hardly seem worth it.

You know, I bet you might be having some reaction to all the fresh air floating in the atmosphere.

After you get used to only listening in a hot air environment, the change can seem quite abrupt.

Actually, certain "pundits" and the manufacturers themselves have been on TV all morning talking about (admitting to) the mistakes they have been making with regard to their system recommendations.

So far, my system in the "upper house" sounds like everything is going to end up very evenly balanced - which is good for the hobby, in general.

You know, you don't want the "objectivists" or the "subjectivists" to have complete power.

Plus, I'm feeling like I have a new, cleaner power supply - now that I listen more.

I know that over time, this power supply will need replacing, but so far, so good.

Cheers, buddy.

There's no such thing as a left winger or a right winger.

when it comes to the rabid and inhumane, in whatever shape it may take----There are merely polarized people that are ill informed.

And that's about all there is to it.

labeling is a very poor and essentially psychotic excuse/substitute for humane considerations centered around thought based compromise.

Never label-and leave your dick in jar-at home.
