RB250 Setup

I recently bought a Goldring GR2 turntable. The turntable sounds great in my system, but I have one concern....the tonearm will (slowly) drift back to the armrest when I lift it up from the lp. I've read and reread the setup instructions and I've set up and re-set up the arm, but the "problem?" still persists. Am I doing something wrong? (this was/is my first thought). The arm is an RB250 which, I assume, has been reworked by Goldring somehow. Any tips/hints/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: RB250 Setup

I thank both of you very much. This has indeed fixed my problem. I guess not all intruction "manuals" are correct. That's too bad. I had my previous 'table (Project Debut II) set up and running spot on in minutes thanks to their instuctions, while I've been thinking I made a msitake buyting this table until your advice panned out.

Again, A large thank you to you both.
Not so much to Goldring.
