This system was designed to be appreciated from a seated position. It produces images at eye level and produce further height information if on the recording. The dipole nature of the design creates fewer side-wall reflections. Closer seating provides for a more immersive perspective. Good focus stays consistent in a respectably sized arc, with the centre image firmly locked in place as though it is a discrete third loudspeaker. The speakers show respectable loudness at believable acoustic levels with very low distortion and demonstrate the virtues of an extremely low noise floor with exceptional dynamic life, detail and nuance. Imaging had extremely broad left-to- right spread and the system easily reproduces information beyond the boundaries of the speaker where the recording offered it. The system remains energized and articulate at volume levels ascending from near zero to acoustically natural, sounding unforced and uncompressed.
