I've never heard these myself, but Sam T. had a lot of good things to say about the 2805. There's also a great review in the Feb. 2007 Absolute Sound by Jim Hannon.
I've just bought a pair of Quad 22L2's. They are the best floorstanding speaker I've heard yet. They have a lot of what I use to hear in the ESL-57's; but these are much easier to place in a room. They also have much better extension on top & bottom, with much more dynamic range. Mine are in the piano gloss cherry finish. For my taste, they are the finest looking & sounding speaker I've owned to date. Did I mention they are a whole lot cheaper than the electrostatics too. Good Listening, BB
I guess that's a "No".
Hello Shaman,

Shaman,
I forgot to ask; have you seen this review?

Thanks for the input, Bob.
I'm a Quad fan myself. I will try and audition them soon. Only thing that I'm worried about is max SPL.
