If people can't speak on a direct comparison than does anyone have any comments on any of these three speakers?
I am looking for 2 channel music speakers only. I listen to all types of music, but engaging sound is my real requirement. These will be in a 22 x 11 room with a couch and Grand Piano. Hardwood floors.
I had compared the Quad 22L with B&W 704 & 604, Spendor S5E and Definitie Tech BP 7004 & 7006. Like yourself, I listen to a variety of musics (via a 2 channel Music Hall amp). For me it was a toss up between the Quad 22L and the B&W 704. I decided on the B&W because the dealer had them there in stock...the Quad had to be ordered. Both sounded excellent. Hopes this helps.
