Interesting, cool. Hope the Social D show was good. They were superb when I saw them long ago. I have a more recent live DVD which is pretty good but not great.

The effect of the plugs was also noteworthy for the sense of placidity it provided. In a sea of concert din, I would describe the state these plugs create was that of relaxed enjoyment, almost peacefulness. I don't know if that's a pro or a con in a rambunctious punk rock show, but it sure was pleasant for me.

I highly recommend these babies.

Wow. I will definitely check these out. One of the things I've grown to absolutely hate about (attending and playing) live rock shows is the ridiculously high volume. These Westones may be just the thing to alleviate the problem.

Thanks so much, Buddha.

I've been begging Buddha to let me mod his Westone ES49's!
Now that I think about it, I could purchase a bunch of Machina Dynamica Brilliant Pebbles; borrow a diamond-edge gemstone saw; cut 'em in half; mount them on cryogenically-treated ear-ring studs (or clip-ons for those of us without piercings); and let you audiophiles try 'em out! Can you imagine the effect?!?
Wes, you can review them!
Can audiophile choclear implants be next?
