I purchased a Rega mini phono amp and a Trends T-Amp a $145 and $135 respectively. Next, I purchased Polk Audio ATI A1 bookshelf Speakers.

Here is my problem. First, the speakers have two outputs a piece (high and low frequency). The T-Amp only has one input per speaker. Second, the T-Amp seems a bit week (10W). Is there any way I can supplement my current setup and still take advantage of all the parts I have already purchased?

The Polk RTiA has two sets of inputs, as in bi-wireable inputs. If you keep the jumpers in place, you only need a pair of cables.

It's a 90dB+ speaker so its pretty efficient. What T amp are we talking about exactly? I believe the solution to be, get rid of the T amp and find a better solution. If its the one I'm thinking of, its just a poor amplifier and I have no doubt about distortion or weak output.

Just a thought.

The T-Amp I am using is the Trends Audio TA-10.1. It addresses many issues the earlier T-Amps faced, the only remaining issue is power/wattage. Thanks for the clarification rewarding the bi-wireablity.

I'm gonna stick with the T-amp (best I can afford really) maybe I'll by another one and bi-wire:)

I have only heard the early version but have read better comments regarding the later generation of T amplifier. Another one in a bi-amped configuration would be pretty neat.

Sounds good, have fun....post pics.
