sure, buy my arcam a80 integrated for $600. it is currently being used as a preamp only with my cary amp. it has a very good moving magnet phono stage and remote control as well.

Perhaps a Jolida JD1501A or a Vincent SV-226. Both are hybrid integrated amps. The Exposure 2010S is a "warm" sounding amp.

I second Harmon Kardon and would add Creek, NAD and Marantz.

On a more serious note.... take apart the paradigm bookshelf speakers and change the capacitors in the crossover to something of higher quality.

SERIOUSLY.

This is a $25 job, MAX, and will very likely remove your desire for a more warm amp at the same time the speakers get better sounding, more warm, and far more revealing.

I second the NAD suggestion, and once again cant stop me from mentioning Rega Brio 3 on this forum.

And I would have "thirded" jackfish on Vincent SV-226, but its more than the pricerange of the OP. But if you find a used or one demo, it would be a bargain.
