I am positive that the Kings of Leon know this album by heart.
I couldn't find any info on how this new record was mastered.
No master tapes, so transcribed from an LP?
If so, using what gear?
If you see that info, let us know!
Fascinating, sir.
so yeah.. good gear. but more important than that, overseen by someone who knew what they were doing. the Sontec, CraneSong, and Lavry Gold are cream of the crop int he mastering world.
Hi Teddy,
The album was taken from the LP using a VPI turntable, shelter cartridge, K&K phono preamp, Lavry Gold AD converters, Sontec 432 EQ, Cranesong STC8 compressor.
Best,
Matt Sullivan | Light In The Attic Records
