I'd consider four Infinity Primus P162s for $400 delivered and the Infinity Beta C360 for $225 delivered.

The Hsu subwoofers mate well with a variety of loudspeakers, making them a good choice, and the Yamaha RX-463 reciever is feature rich for home theater, but not particularly robust sonically or performance wise.
Since I saved you some money on better speakers you could also look into the SVS PB10-NSD which is a much better performer than the HSU STF-2. http://www.svsound.com/products-sub-box-10nsd.cfm
Thanks for the suggestions.
What would be the next step up for the receiver? I really would like something that works well for music.
The infinity P-162 seems like the way to go since they are better and cost less. I figure that since I need to get stands anyway, I might as well put that money into floorstanding speakers. How are the Infinity P252's?
Marantz makes very sweet and musical receivers. Yamaha, while nice have always been a bit too bright for my tastes.
The Onkyo TX-SR576 can be found for $300 and is heads above that Yamaha.
The P252s ($524 plus shipping for four) are rated the same for frequency response but are more sensitive and crossover at a lower frequency. It is likely they sound different, but they probably both sound good. I've only heard the P152s, P162s and P362s and liked them all, especially for the price.
The Onkyo TX-SR576 does not decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. Would that be handled automatically by a blue ray drive? Or does the receiver net to decode it.
For $90 more you'ld be into the Onkyo TXSR606 which has those features.
