I really like the Monitor Audio Silver line with it and PSB. You might find a sharp price on a pair of Silver 6s that were recently discontinued or the new Silver 200s. From PSB, Imagine X2T or Imagin Xs depending on your exact budget are wonderful speakers.
Thanks Bierfeldt. My budget is around 1500 for the speakers,
The Focal Chorus 726 are on sale for 1299
MONITOR AUDIO SILVER 8 LOUDSPEAKER are 1400
PSB Imagine X2T Tower Loudspeaker are 1300
Of the above, What would you recommend (best pairing with M2SI)?
Personally I like the Focals 726 because they are fully built in France..A rarity considering most of them are built in China in this price range.

All 3 are excellent speakers. Since the amp is rated at 137 watts per channel at 4 ohms, there should be no problem driving almost any speakers.
That is like asking me whether I want ice cream with chocolate sauce or ice cream with cookies crumbled over it. I have recently fallen in love with the Focal Kanta No 2s, one of Focal's higher end speakers so I am personally biased toward them at the moment. But the Silver 8s are also amazing and your amp is a good match for both.
The only thing I can say against the Chorus 726s is the bass response is poor in that it only goes to 49hz. You will want a subwoofer with those. The Silver 8s go to 32hz and will not require a subwoofer for most music. Both will be driven to deafening volumes with your amp
I totally understand :) I am in the same boat hence my indecision in choosing one. Do you think I will need a subwoofer with the Focals even if my primary aim is to listen to Vinyl music?( Mostly Classic rock, Folk and jazz)
Thank you so much, your valuable inputs have really helped me to make a decision. I'll be pulling the trigger on Monitor Audio Silver 8 Speakers afterall. Can't wait to get them hooked up to my M2SI.
I suspect the true bass response between the two speakers are a lot closer than their company supplied specs would suggest. Focal tends to be extremely transparent with their ratings and I suspect Monitor is giving a best case scenario and using a larger cut-off point at the bottom. Still, KR really liked the Monitor Audio speakers and was impressed with their bottom end.
The Focals are wonderful speakers that are easy to drive. They would be a superb choice.
Thanks Bierfeldt. Do you have any other recommendation or you think Musical Fidelity M2SI should be a great match for Focal Chorus 726.
Thanks for all your advice.

Thanks Commsysman! The M2SI is rated at 76W @8 Ohms and 137@4 Ohms. I have narrowed down to Focals and Monito Audio Silver 8.
My question is which of the 2 speakers are best suited since Focals impedance is 8 Ohms and Monitor Audio Silver 8 impedance is 4 Ohms.
Thanks

A bass guitar goes to 40hz, a piano will go as low as 28hz. 49hz is not very deep. You will miss the low end of a lot of music with the Focals.
