Was able to get a refurbished Marantz CD6006 for $378 at Musicdirect (often selling for $699 when available) last April. Has performed perfectly and lends weight and extension to CD playback. Despite assaults from streaming and vinyl, some CD players continue to perform well at keeping CD collections (often hundreads) on active use. Even burned CD's of selected mix of artists sounds very good as well.
