Magico S5 at David Michael Audio

Saturday, September 29, 11am–6pm: David Michael Audio (4341 Delemere Court, Royal Oak, MI) will host a demonstration of the Magico S5 loudspeaker ($28,600/pair), which had impressed John Atkinson at the 2012 Newport Beach Show. Looks like Magico has different drivers in this model other than their Nanotech drivers used in the Q series. Or, are they an upgraded version of the Nanotech drivers. Inquiring minds would like to know.

The S5 uses two 10" Nano-Tec bass drivers, a 1" beryllium-dome tweeter, and a 6" midrange unit.

"Seating is limited"......yeah for those that bring their credit card or a pocket full of cash.I'd love to hear these A/B'd against "lesser" speakers in a fair SBT or DBT. I bet they wouldn't sound so nice then. ONLY $28,600 a pair, what a bargain *eye roll*
