krell 300il bass!!

hi
i have
accuphase dp-55v cdplayer
krell kav 300il integrated amplifier
dynaudio audience 82 3way speaker
van den hul the second IC 0.6 m
van den hul The revelation Spk 2.5m
bass in some tracks like diana krall double bass line or leonard kohen some tracks is not in control and i listen forwardness in bass and sound lose timing.
in overal in deep double bass lines system lose the control.

can you detect where is problem?
should i believe krell can not control dynaudio?!!!

Not familiar with those speakers and components but perhaps room acoustics are contributing to your problem.

Have you experimented with speaker positioning? Ensure enough distance away from walls and especially corners? What are your room dimensions?

Try reversing your speaker connections and see if that helps any.

This is an interesting suggestion. If the Diana Krall CD is on Impulse!, the recording might be mastered with inverted polarity, which might result in diffused sounding bass. Inverting polarity makes a huge difference in focus on my Coltrane and Rollins Impulse! reissues (depending on the cut.)
