Interconnects for integrated amp?

I own a NAD 320BEE Integrated Amplifier. I wish to upgrade the interconnect cables (not sure if this is the correct term). I'm not referring to the cables between the amp and the CD player; rather I am referring to the little 6-inch cable that runs between (I assume) the pre-amp and the amp that is built into the same unit.

Question:

(1) Recommendations in the $100 range?
(2) Are these the same "interconnect" cables that run between my intergrated amp and CD player?

My current cables (interconnects between amp-cd as well as speaker cables) are from Audio Art (IC-3) -- great cables.

Re: Interconnects for integrated amp?

Audioquest makes some good preamp/amp jumpers for $25 each.

What are you expecting to gain from this purchase? Are you unhappy with the sound you have right now?

Re: Interconnects for integrated amp?

Well, my hopes of upgrading my NAD 320BEE to something better (perhaps the C372 or even an integrated tube) is no longer a real option ($$ issues). I have a pair of TaraLabs jumper cables connecting the preamp to the amp section of the 320BEE. I was hoping to upgrade those in the hope of squeezing any more clarity, soundstage, etc. out of my current system with minimal cost.
