Iuse Naim components and Naim cable and interconnects. "Dirty" connections do seem to be much of a problem. I connect different sets of speakers during the year, and clean speaker cable termini when I change speakers.

I never ceased to be surprised by how much stuff shows up on my cleaning swap each month!

I use the suite of Craig products when connecting initially installing speakjer cables or ICs. Thereafter, I seldom if ever go through the process again unless some major up0grade or replacement is made in the system. If you don't play with the cables all the time the Craig treatment should last.

usually not intentionally -- just happens out of a need to make a minor change, and i decide to go for broke, and completely disassebly, clean, and reassemble the system.

But maybe I should, apparently.

When the sound is good you never think about cleaning the connections. I should do it more often.

It's a bit like exercise, one knows one ought to do it, but hardly ever gets around to it. A good treatment for connectors once cleaned to keep them as near pristine as possible would be highly desirable -- a subject for a Stereophile report?

What are "interconnects"?
