Thanks in advance! I recently noticed when playing a particular tune at home, I thought there was a 12-string guitar in the background. Played through a car stereo, it was very clearly a guitar and a mandolin playing in octaves. So my objective is to replace my home satellite speakers with more clear speakers.

I listen in a living room/kitchen open layout about 400sf (19x21). Furniture, no rugs. I listen to almost all genres of music, classical to chamber to funk to Latin. No TV, movies, etc. Music mostly streamed or ripped onto an iPhone. Not loud.

The speakers must be wall-mounted (small apartment), about 7 feet off the ground.

My current set-up is an Onkyo TX-NR509 Receiver, Polk DSWPro440 subwoofer, and two c. 2000 Bose Acoustimass 5 Series III satellites.

Current contender is a pair of SVS Prime satellites. Thoughts and suggestion most welcome. Thanks much.
