Before we begin explaining what it is you see beyond page 11 in the subwoofer PDF, what do you not understand? There are at least four methods for setting up your subwoofer between pages 11 and 14. Which method do you want to use?
Unless someone states otherwise here, they should all get you to where you need to go.
Right now it looks like it had been setup using speaker level inputs like on page 14 of the subwoofer manual. There is one strand of speaker wire that has 4 wires but it is hard to see how that went into the back of the MA6850 amp.
Your McIntosh amp only has facility to connect one pair of speakers, either 2, 4 or 8 ohm, according to the manual. So I would suggest connecting to your subwoofer line inputs. There are several ways you can do this. With that amp the easiest would be connecting from the McIntosh preamp out to the subwoofer line in inputs. If you want to use the speaker inputs on the subwoofer and you have 8 ohm speakers you probably could wire both the speakers and the subwoofer to the 4 ohm speaker terminals on the McIntosh amp.
You have McIntosh gear! Good deal.
