The Diamond 10.1 and Music Hall Marimba are not powered speakers, so they are not what you want.

I have the Audioengine 2 speakers with my desktop PC, which are very good.

The PSB PS1 speakers are even better; I also recommend those.

If you want any bass at all, you should use a subwoofer with them. I use the Sony WA-2500, which is available for around $100. It is not real powerful, but it is all I need since I am right on top of the speakers and don't turn it up real loud.
