There are a plethora of tube headphone amps. it's a lot easier to drive little speakers or planar diaphragms than loudspeakers. How much you got to spend? That's a good place to start. Some amps are thousands of dollars and some are quite reasonable. Also the headphones themselves are a considerable component. Sennheiser makes a pair of electrostatics with a tube amplifier for $50,000. So does HiFiMAN. Find a local high-end dealer. That way you can audition your prospective purchase.

Find a high-end dealer. Having a good relationship with an actual human being is invaluable.
