hi all new here...im looking for some input been looking around (and saving)for a headphone amp as im only now getting into headphones.i have a pair of shure srh1840 headphones i have been using them with the meridian explorer...but now thinking of upgrading to the meridian prime and meridian prime power supply...as audio affair have them both at a reasonable price....good move or not..? i love the sound of the explorer...i will be using flac files and meridian 507cd player for audio...also having just read dalethorn review of these headphones i couldnt agree more..also im using foobar 2000

Meridian sounds good as it adds MQA capability. Good choice.

Make sure to follow the firmware upgrades very closely, and don't do the upgrade until reliable users have verified its stability. I'd hate to see anything that's working well now not work as well later. MQA should have a few more revisions before it reaches perfection.
