Have you listened to SACD much? What do you think about the sound?

Its future as a format may be debatable, but does SACD have the sonic goods? Have you been able to spend much time with SACD? If so, what do you think about the way it sounds?

For the total music experience.

Really trying to hear that distortion above 8kHz, but in vain. Is it there or not?

It really is better than cd and (sorry) lp. BUT, how many more times can you listen to the dark side of the moon, if you want to take advantage of the medium's potential?

Forget expensive turntables for warm and detailed sound, go SACD. This format delivers on the promise of the digital revolution, with warmth and detail by the boatload. DSD recordings are especially good, but many older recordings also benefit from SACD technology. For those who insist on stste of the art sound, you're missing the best music format available. I listen to my SACD recordings in 2 channel mode, and crave more new releases. SACD will only survive if enough music lovers support the format. Please don't let this opportunity slip away.

not a big selection and expensive

Not enough media available to us. I'm tired of multichannel format wars between DVD-A and SACD. Pick one, Manufacturers, or make all players universal!
