How big are the audio racks? I'm in the market for one & I might like to take them off your hands if they're not too big.
Well, your name is fitting, lucky. But tell me this. You are GIVEN a pair of Hales, a servo Velodyne, A Billy Bags rack and a shitload of AR and you don't have room for the speakers??? GET A BIGGER HOUSE! You are killing me...
We very favorably reviewed the Hales 2 Signature 17 years ago. It does need to be used with a subwoofer, however, You can find our review at www.stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/791hales.

Go to Audiogon.com and for a small fee you can sign up for an online Blue Book audio guide. That should get you set up.
The rack is a Billy Bags.If you go to http://www.billybags.com/selectionfr.html,rack # 4605 looks most like it(but no trusses), but the center has the same small spaces as the #5007. The rack measures 48" wide x 56" high x 19" deep, there are 10 shelves. The top 8 shelves are 21"w x 8"h,then there are 2 shelves side by side at the bottom for large amps and they are 21"w x14"h. In the middle of the 2 rows of 5 shelves there is a 6" wide space, like the #5007. The rack is in mint condition, its dark gray metal tubing with formica top and shelf inserts, very heavy. The closest rack (4605) on the website is about $2000. I am asking $1500 negotiable. I live on Long lsland in Holbrook ,NY.(near Sayville, Patchoque area). If you are interested reply to this post, give me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you my phone number and directions.
I hear you man. It really kills me to part with these Hales. But, my wife says they are ugly and too big for her decor (hardy har har har). She suggested to set up the system in my unheated garage,I told her to put her furniture in the garage, and use the subwoofer as a coffee table,(you can guess how that went over) I just want to sell them to someone who appreiciates them, rather than put them in a cold damp garage. It just wouldn't be right.
HI LUCKY, I'm familiar with your problem (Wife Acceptance Factor) and sympathize. There's lots of good stuff out there and someone on this forum should know some speakers that match up nicely with the AR stuff. I hope you get a good price/home for the Hales. You've got great material to work with. Good luck!
Whoa, that's actually way too big for my needs, too! Hope you find a good buyer, soon. Sounds like a killer rack.
