Burn-in in a general sense is controversial. Some say it doesn't exist, but most agree there IS something to it, although how much depends. If Slee said two weeks, personally I'd guess that means two weeks of normal listening-- a couple of hours a day. By that estimate if you've given it 30 straight hours you'd be about there. On the other hand, you might want to give that baby a rest after every 8 hours or so- not sure any equipment is supposed to go that long. My 2 cents.
Wow, it's nice to have us Salem guys (I'm in Salem, Oregon) stick together on this!
Thanks for the quick response and the help on this, dbowker!

Even thou I have both the granite audio burn-in cd and the era gold v. The cd was purchased for a phono valve amp which I ran in for over four weeks. I would run your era gold 24/7, week after week for a month or so. the more the better, for my experience suggested the era gold takes a while to run in. The cd is a good asset to have , you might as well give it a work out
I agree! Thanks!
