The subwoofer is controlled by a 56-bit DSP to manage its frequency response, soft-clipping, DC offset control, output stage saturation control, multi-band limiting and equalization. Response is rated at 10Hz200Hz, and the 12dB/octave low-pass filter can be set from 40Hz to 200Hz.
The jet black compact subwoofer was barely visible in the near dark exhibit room. A GoldenEar representative attempted to play one of my CDs, but the only satellite speaker in the system with the subwoofer was a tiny sound bar that couldn’t handle the high-pass musical signal. Still, I am eager to hear this prmising subwoofer with proper full-range floorstanding satellite speakers.

"Hey let's bring this awesome new subwoofer to the CES show". "Okay, but let's not set up a 2.1 system with it, it's not like we make highly regarded value based speakers or anything". I agree with Anton, let's get a review, we need some competition to SVS, JL and REL out there.
