Hi there! I just bought a secondhand receiver (probably
early'90's).
Auto Scan Receiver
Ser # S44465 8944
Max output 215W.
The right audio output (both A&B) puts out a weak
signal and doesn't really turn on the speakers. It just
sounds distorted. Right now I have both speakers
hooked up to just the Left side output
and have the balance turned all the way Left. It still
sounds distorted. But... if I select just A or B and
send all of the power to run just one speaker it
sounds great. What do you guys think?
I have recently become very interested in older
systems and would definately like to troubleshoot
and geek out on doing some surgery with some
wire cutters and a solder iron.
Thank you!
