I kept hoping mine would come with the SAT Mail. It did not. I guess I was not alone. Luckily there was some good football on and, as usual, more music to listen to. Hoping all your teams won. My Bears did not. Hey, my Cubs are tied for first again!!!!!! Been that way for me since 1952. I know...Its early.

Hi John,

I too was busy watching the football games, however, I'm still wondering just what the referee's were watching. Especially during the replay reviews. Sideline video peepshow booths? Something is afoot I fear.

Over at Freakonomics they had an interesting analysis of this. Scroll down to "Cheating in the NFL."

I thought about linking to it on my blog, but didn't. Worth reading though.

With 1080 I/P high def instant replay and they still can't get it right, I fear as well. But still nothing like Eric Gregg and the Braves/Marlins playoff game strike zone. That was a travesty.
