Hello,

I've been looking into purchasing a streamer for a while, and reading reviews on various products. Unfortunately, most reviews seem to be based on the overall sound quality of the product, which most often includes the built-in DAC at the $500 price range.

However, I have a Peachtree Audio that I love, and intend to use it. I might also buy a few other dacs along the way (why not?).

Any advice on how to evaluate the streamer component of a product only? For example, although the Cambridge Audio CXN V2 probably has better integration, DAC and more features than the Node 2i, is the streamer any better? At double the price?

Any good reviews focused on the streamer aspect only?
