I haven't built a speaker system for decades, but I would be interested in trying something using the DEQX electronic crossover with a dedicated amplifier at each driver. All it takes is money, time, imagination, and skill! Trying a large number of different speaker drivers would be fun. If I actually do this, I am more likely to use the DEQX with something like a Revel speaker with the passive crossovers disconnected.
