Looking for advice / recommendations on how to improve the desktop listening setup.

Currently running the Adam Audio Artist 3 series, built in DAC with dragonfly cables usb to PC, which have been great. No complaints honestly, super simple and great clarity, but been craving a boost now that's its been 6 years with these.

Thoughts on adding sub and better DAC?? Worth it?

Would this setup compliment a higher quality dac? Like possibly a Halide DAC HD. Sub I saw the AUdioEngine S6 Powered Subwoofer looks to be attractive.

Budget under 1K.

(used mainly for Music / youtube / gaming)
