Coming soon, 7A Line Preamplifier

Within the next month, I will be introducing a new preamplifier I call the 7A. It will be priced for the general market, feature 3 inputs and one output. However, one can request additional inputs, HTC bypass, reduced gain for each one input or all, etc.
The 7A will use Cardas Rhodium Jacks, silver contact switches, Jenalabs wire in the signal path etc.

Specs.

Frequency Response: 10 - 25 khz (+0, -.1db)
Approx Gain: 21db gain
Maximum Output Voltage: 9 vrms
Total Harmonic Distortion at 2 vrms: 0.015% or less. (Predom harmonic at least 74 db down.)
Signal Polarity: Inverts
Input Impedance: 25k ohms
Min. Amplifier Input Impedance: 20k
Volume Controls: 1

Tape Loops: Request:
Line Inputs: 3 (additonal upon request)
Preamp. Outputs: 1
Tubes: JJ E88CC (Far superior to other E88cc/6dj8 types for low distortion.)
Line Cord Length: 6 feet standard
Power Consumption: 10 watts
Power Requirements: 120 Volts AC, 50/60hz.

Dimensions: 17 3/4" wide
19" black rack front
4" high
11" deep
Actual Weight: 10 lbs.
Shipping Weight: (Charged 30lb rate because of dimensions)

Thanks.

Best wishes, SAS. Thanks for the info!

Are we allowed to say that?

A clear violation of the rules as I understand them!

Stupid rule with that "reply" button there.

Perhaps as long as comments are akin to suckin' up or kissin' ass it's allowable?

Re: Coming soon, 7A Line Preamplifier

Update:

Because of inflation of parts costs, there will be two 7As, "Basic" and "Premium". Just could not keep the price below a grand with the premium parts costs drastically increasing these past few months.

"The 7A will use Cardas Rhodium Jacks, silver contact switches, Jenalabs wire in the signal path etc."

This will be the "Premium" model (no Cardas jacks in either model though) while the "Basic" 7A uses a less expensive selector switch, volume controls, and wire. However, the "Basic" model sounds so close to the it is scary.

Some of the premium parts are environmentally sealed, for longer life, while the basic's counter parts are not.

Take care and thanks.

Re: Coming soon, 7A Line Preamplifier

I have several 7As built and ready, both the basic and premium models. I also have one that is blemished and listed on my "Specials" webpage at a good price.

The "Basic" has 3 inputs and 1 output (more optional) while the "Premium has 5 inputs, 1 output and uses Jenalabs 6N cryod wire along with high quality sealed power and rotary switches.

Reliability is second to none. As an indication of what to expect, I have never had a 10A in for repair (except for UPS damaging a couple during shipment.)
