I am currently in the throes of cassette bliss and invested at least one whole stimulus check on cassettes of all types, especially the ones that are getting very difficult to find as I think I see the writing on the wall. I use a SONY Professional Walkman cassette player and SONY MDR-V700 headphones. I have found damping the cassette case improves the sound quite a bit and recently suspended the portable player on special very low spring rate springs, you know, since the portable player only weights about 1/2 pound. Much air, resolution and sweetness. Heck, even digitally remastered cassettes sound sweet. Who woulda thought?
