Infinity Primus 150....................about $200 pr us
Check out Stereophiles review.
Actually, you can get a pair of Infinity Primus 160s for $150 a pair and you would have a little better low end reproduction. They are quite an improvement over the Infinity SM65s I have. You could always add an Infinity PS10 subwoofer ($210) later if you wanted to improve the mid and low bass in your listening experience.
Since total sound accuracy is not the issue, and fun is, I would suggest looking at the JBL S50 at J and R Music World. www.jr.com $239 with free shipping. Or try the floor standing E 80's at $159.99 ea with free shipping. I would borrow $100 from someone close at that price.
I suggest pushing your budget up over $300 and getting the Epos ELS-3.
