The sound is so good, they are renaming the song "Pashas of Swing."
They will also henceforth call another song, "Pellegrino of Love."
Dire Straits+Steely Dan=Axis of boredom
Hey, don't you have a Greatful Dead thread to go shit on?
Dire Straits first albums is one of my desert island discs. Good recording, good songs, and great performances.
Boring? C'mon, admit it. Two Against Nature's incest theme just strikes too close to home.
Sorry, ncdrawl...I didn't mean to bore you. If Yanni has a re-issue, I'll send you a PM!

Ouch.
...tell me your not serious.
NC just isn't a grown-up yet
A favorite memory: back in 85', 86' the tv station where I worked (WTVH, Syracuse NY) was the media sponsor for Andreas Vollenweider, who was playing a local show.
Since we had tickets, a bunch of us decided to go. IIRC, Vollenweider was somehow *hot* at that point.
I sat down, the music started and...the next thing I knew it was over. My buddy Al, a photog, told me that within seconds I nodded off and started snoring. In fact, people kept rousting me because I was snoring so loudly.
I have no memory of the show at all, which is just as well, I suspect.
