Budget Open Headphones for Bass Practice

Hi.

My new neighbours are understandably unhappy with my bass so I have to invest in headphones. I want open headphones because I like watching stuff while I play.

I play around 3-4 hours without stop so comfort is also high priority, or as much as I can get in my price range

I have a budget around 120 US /90 Euros / 700 Danish KronaMax and that is the very upper limit.

Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance

Best in that price range

Best in that price range would be the Beyerdynamic DTX501p, or Beyerdynamic DTX350p. Open back in that price range is low quality - not recommended.

By the way, what do you mean about watching stuff? No headphones cover your eyes. Am confused.

Sennheiser HD558

For long listening sessions, over the ear is the only way to go.

I can't suggest these based on anything other than a brief trial at my local Best Buy Magnolia store. But I can attest to the comfort of their design and the obvious sound quality improvement over the others on offer at the store.

I seriously think you would regret on ear designs if you intend to use them for more than half an hour or so.
