Guys this catalog came out this month, I am sure that someone here has to have it and at least know which catalog I am talking about..
In what sense do you mean, "....affiliated with Stereophile" ? I've subscribed for a while and never have encountered such an animal - I doubt that they exist (correct me, Stephen, if I'm wrong here). Many catalog merchandisers are fond of quoting brief versions of Stereophile reviews, but I don't see that as an affiliation. I suspect that may be what you ran into.
The only mail order outfit I can think of that might have published such an offer on Bose equipment would be Crutchfield.
Good luck.
Cheapskate, I guess affiliated is the wrong word. I received the catalog when I subscribed to Stereophile without ordering it. I can only assume that this company works through Stereophile for their advertising. I guess this is not the case. I assumed that others got it as well along with their subscription,.
I just don't remember the name of the catalog, otherwise I'd be in business...
You dare bring up the "B" word on Stereophile? Do you hate your mom that much?
I dare, they are small and will work OK for her.. And were marked down from $1999 to $299 on a closeout deal, I saw Bose and never thought I would ever need to worry about them for me, but wasn't thinking about her... Thats what I get for throwing something out ..
i can think of many better uses of $299. for instance, paradigm atom monitors, psb alpha b1's. ect.
