bluetooth or wifi to stream audio to old receiver

hi all,
I have a yamaha RS700 receiver (2 channel; audio only) and I'd like to add wireless music streaming capability. Been trying to figure out the best way to do it without breaking the bank (like a sonos).. there are all these kinda cheap looking B/T receivers at Amazon for like $25 with rca outputs. I suppose I could connect it to one of the aux lines, but would it be better to stream Airplay of WiFi? I'm mostly talking about quality of sound without drops (which can happen with B/T). Would getting a second Apple Airport Express (my main one is in another room) and using it for audio only work well, or is there a better WiFi option?

I'm lost in the sauce and would really appreciate any straight forward advice.

Thanks in advance!

Without breaking the bank but

Without breaking the bank but not scraping the bottom of the barrel, I'd grab something like the Andover Songbird. Bluetooth is easy, but if you want quality stick with wifi so your stream isn't compressed. Songbird will handle hi-res too.
