I am sure at times it gets rather tedious and repetitious but rest assured it is appreciated!
My question:

Sorry to say it does get repititious. Try the archives of the forum for several threads relating specifically to this topic. Discussions often run to several pages and can be quite enlightening.

How is this better than having just one wire from each output terminal of the amp going into the inputs of the speaker with the use of the jumper provided by the speaker manufacturer?

It's not better. However, some people like to believe it is.

I have my speakers bi-wired and to my ears it sounds better. Of course I do not know if it is because of the bi-wire or the poor quality of some of the jumpers. I use AudioQuest Slate wire which is a single cable bi-wire. You might want to check out their site to read what they have to say on the subject.
