Spikes.
Spikes and a bubble level. If the spikes have nuts on them after you've found the proper balance remember to tighten the nuts to the bottom of the speaker.
Yup, spikes - with adjustable height.
The usual suspects - Audio Advisor, Music Direct, etc...should have them online to learn more about before you buy.
X2.

Parts Express, as well!
One possibility
What are the speakers out of curiosity? If you weren't aware there will also be an improvement in sound quality. At the very least the bass will become more solid, dynamic, and cleaner. With some speakers I've even notices a more solid center image and better sound staging.
First, many thanks to those who replied. I should have figured that out myself, but for some reason, I didn't.
Second, for the person who asked, the speakers are Totem Arros. very nice, too. And I'm sure they will sound better once they've been leveled and stabilized.
Third, in case you're interested, i came across this (much more expensive) solution: check out http://www.soundocity.com/Straight_End_1.50_Spikes.html for outriggers. Let me know what you all think.
Thanks again

That is a FANTASTIC solution if in budget. Killer product.
i could not find prices on that site. could you give an idea of what they cost? could work for me too.
thanks.
ok rappahanock (sorry if i butchered the spelling):
i ordered and received today my outriggers from soundocity. they are first class materials and construction all the way. very easy to level the speakers now and they are stuck to the floor like velcro. they look great. can't wait to get home and spend some quality time looking for bass improvement.
thanks for the recommendation.
